She advises on a broad range of claims including orthopaedic injury, obstetric and gynaecological claims, misdiagnoses and delayed diagnoses, surgical errors and fatal claims.
She joined the firm in 2006 and worked as a paralegal before commencing her training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in May 2009. She was promoted to senior associate in September 2013 and to principal associate in May 2019, and is a member of the firm's inaugural Shadow Board.
Kishma was also admitted to practice in her native British Virgin Islands in May 2010.
She is a co-opted member of the Birmingham Law Society Council and co-chair of Birmingham Black Lawyers, a social networking organisation founded by Kishma and three colleagues in 2011.
Kishma is the recipient of Birmingham Law Society's Solicitor of the Year Award 2020-21.
